• Contact details — such as your name, email address and phone number, used to send you your order and respond to support requests.
• Card content you provide — names, messages, dates, photos, and music you upload to personalise a template.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment partner, Cashfree Payments. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank account details on our own servers.
• Usage data — pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected automatically to keep the site working well and to understand which templates are popular.
• Cookies — small files used to remember your editor progress, keep you logged in to an order, and measure site performance.

02How We Use Your Information

• To generate the personalised card or video you design.
• To process payments and send order confirmations.
• To provide customer support over WhatsApp, email, or on-site chat.
• To improve our templates, editor, and overall site experience.
• To send you updates about your order, and — only with your consent — occasional offers on new templates.

03Photos, Names & Messages You Upload

Any photo, name, message, or audio you upload is used solely to render the specific card or video you are creating. We do not use your personal photos or messages for advertising, and we do not share them with anyone outside the technical partners needed to generate and deliver your card (for example, our hosting provider). Uploaded files are automatically deleted from our active servers after a reasonable period once your card has been downloaded, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

04Payments via Cashfree

All payments on BirthdayCard.in are processed through Cashfree Payments, a licensed and PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. When you pay, you are redirected to Cashfree's secure checkout; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with an order reference. Cashfree's handling of your payment data is governed by Cashfree's own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

05Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to run the card editor and remember your session, and optional analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time; this may affect some editor features.

06Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share only the minimum data necessary with:

• Cashfree Payments, to process your order.
• Our website hosting and storage providers.
• WhatsApp, when you choose to contact us or receive your order through WhatsApp.
• Authorities, only where required by applicable Indian law.

07Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe at every step.

08Children's Privacy

Our cards are often made forchildren's birthdays, but BirthdayCard.in itself is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
